So this morning I had the job interview.  It went really well!  The two people who interviewed me were pretty good guys.  They asked some good questions.  I’m not sure how many people they interviewed, but I know they had some after me.  They said they were going to do a second round of interviews sometime for those that passed the first round.

So today around 2pm they called me back and asked if I could come in on Wednesday for a second interview!  So I’m pretty excited about that.  I was thinking it wouldn’t be for a while, but it’s quick.  So that’s very nice.  Maybe I’ll know something before the wedding.  That would make me feel very good!

So only 6 days until the wedding!  That seems kind of strange.  It’s coming up quick.  It doesn’t seem that long ago that it I proposed.  I must say it’s actually really nice to be able to see Beth every day.  It makes things a lot easier.

Okay, I should get back to finishing my “homework”.  Wedding music, photo slideshow, etc.  Homework?  That just means I fit in better on campus!  Yay for me!

That’s right… I have moved into the new apartment where Beth and I will soon begin our new lives together.  How sweet is that?  I’m excited anyway.  We got a lot of stuff moved in, and unpacked already.  Things are looking nice.

Last night the bachelor party was there.  We played poker, and hung out.  It was a good time, quite, and not overly crazy. I went to bed about 5 am this morning.  And thanks to some (old) people who went to sleep at 10pm,  was awake again at 8.

That’s alright actually.  They left to got to church at 9, I’m not sure why they went so early, since they went to the same service I did at 10:45, so I had a chance to clean the place up some and unpack a few things. There are a few more boxes to go.  Mostly clothes stuff I think.

I have a job interview tomorrow with Eschelon Telecom.  That will be kind of fun.  The job seems interesting and it might have a lot of room for creativity. I’ll post more on that tomorrow maybe, and let you know how things went.

What did I do?  Well lots of stuff.
Saturday was busy with family stuff with Beth’s family then we had a dinner engagement with some people on Saturday night.

Basically the weekend was a lot of family stuff, and wedding plans.  We’re getting everything figured out, etc.  The next 2 weeks will be super busy.  It’ll be fun though.  We’re moving stuff into the Apartment on Friday, and I think I’ll have a job interview on Monday down there.  It’ll be a busy, but good time.

I’ll be around the area next week if anyone wants to hang out.  I do have a hankering for some C-1, so I’ll probably send out an email about that.  But give me a jingle if you want next weekend.

So I guess some people have been throwing their Wii remote control while playing.  Here’s the article, I thought it was funny.

That’s right.  We’ve been approved for an apartment.  Georgetown on the River is the name of the place, and it’s in Fridley.  Here’s a link.  We’re excited to move in! So there’s the info on that.

Job Search is another question I get a lot.  I’ve got some possibilities, including transferring down to Banta in Maple Grove, Medtronic, and maybe something at the Capitol.  Nothing is for sure yet, but I’ll be sure to keep ya posted.

I went to the Dentist this morning for a cleaning and everything.  They did all that and said I should come back again to fill a cavity.  However they were booked until mid-January.  So they said they’d put me on th cancellation list.  So they call me up a few minutes ago and asked if I could make it in at 2 today.  So I get to go to the Dentist twice today!

SO I think this is a first for me.  I’m sitting in the ITS computer lab at 11 pm on a Saturday night.  Wow, I’m exciting.

Beth and I are scanning pictures for our slideshow for our wedding. We’ve got a lot of pictures to scan and look through.  We could be here a while.

In other fun news we found an apartment today.  We’re actually going to fill out all the paperwork for it tomorrow, but it’s a nice place.  It’s large and we’re looking forward to moving in!  We also bought a bed!  Talk about a shopping spree!  It’s been a good weekend.

Beth wants me to mention she bought a purse.  Yippee!  That was her contribution to the shopping spree mania.

We’ll be sure to throw an apartment warming party sometime. Probably in January.
