Change?
I just listened to Barak Obama’s victory speech that he gave from Indiana. Okay, it just sounded like a victory speech. There were a few things that I thought were interesting. While I can’t quote it, I’ll try my best to paraphrase it.
He said for several decades we have heard politicians talk about change. People run on a basis of change. But no change has happened.
I would agree with him on those statements. But here is my question to all of my reader, especially those who in the Obama camp: What makes you think that Obama will bring the change that he himself admits has not happened from any other politician? Will he bring that change, or (if he is elected) will he be like the politicians before him?
Please share your thoughts.

You’ve got to have known I wouldn’t pass this one up
To me Obama seems to have a vision and a knack for bipartisanship that has been unseen for sometime. For me personally– and I think for many of the everyday non-political people that he has connected with– the difference is in his authenticity. He does not ooze liberal agenda, or seem like a slimy politician. He comes across as a genuine man of integrity who wants to see change in America.
The difference between Obama and other candidates who promised change remains to be seen. But the difference for me is simply that I believe him when he says that he will bring change.

Thanks Hannah! I knew I could count on you. Now if the other readers would step up to the plate, we’d be good.
I don’t want the comments to get into a political debates, but perhaps we’ll talk off the blog about this.

Yeah I’m getting no responses with my entry too. What’s up with that?
